Birthday Addendum

For those of you who might be interested (and still read my blog, even in my unfaithfulness), I had one of the most amazing birthdays ever. It was my 30th, by the way, which I wasn't so happy about to begin with, but I realized that there was really nothing I could do about it, so I began to accept it.

Saturday night, my roommates, Carolyn & Paxton Merrill (along with Zion, in the womb), took me out to eat for my favorite food -sushi! They told me they were taking me out to dinner, then surprised me by taking me to sushi. It was amazing. Then we went home (after they had to talk me into it by telling me they had a gift they wanted to give me at home).

We go home. We walk to our door. Paxton unlocks the door while we are chatting, then just stands there. He doesn't open the door. I'm thinking, "why is he just standing there?! It is cold out here!" I open the door and walk in...... SURPRISE!!! I am bombarded with shock as I face about 15 of my bestest friends (in Georgia anyway). I couldn't believe that this got by me! I almost always can sniff these things out. They did a great job of planning it and keeping it a secret. I had a great time with everyone, as we ate and played some funny games.

I've never had a surprise party before. Oh the irony of having a surprise party when I didn't even want to have another birthday!
