I love DC

I love being in DC. I really enjoy being in the middle of so much action. I get such a thrill from getting inside info and being able to pray into it. That is what JHOP is all about. God gives us strategy through the CIA (Christian Intelligence Agency) and we pray. Lately we have been getting info on what races are key and who to pray for.

One of the things I love about this community is that everyone here keeps up with political news. In their spare time they are combing the online news sources for info on people or issues we are praying for. Since politics is something I've always enjoyed, this is somewhere I have naturally felt like I have fit into. It can be hard sometimes being the only one fired up about something going on politically at IHOP, since most people's primary focus is on intimacy and end-times. But, I guess that is why God has me there, and He loves variety.

Also, this is the perfect time of year to be in DC. The leaves on the trees are beautiful. I love driving down East Capitol and seeing the perfectly painted trees lining the street with the US Capitol at the finish. It is especially astounding when the sun is setting. Oh, the nostalgia of being in DC in the fall. I hope we have victories in the elections like we did 2 years ago when I was here.
