On Saturday I did something I've never done. I milked cows. Well, actually, let the truth be known that I never really touched the cow. I just basically went along for the ride and watch my friends milk the cows. They own a part of the cow (red-tape to purchasing fresh milk) and so they help out with the milking on Saturdays. Since I was staying with them, I decided to go with them for the fun of saying I've milked a cow. I mainly played with the kittens on the farm and watched Samuel, so that Brenda and Kendra could milk, with an electric milker, no less.

Then on Sunday night after
Encounter Service at
IHOP, we took my friend, Jenn, to
Cafe Intermezzo for her birthday. This is one of the hippest cafes in Atlanta. It's got great atmosphere and immediately brings you to the streets of Florence (or some other wonderful city in Italy). It also happens to be my old stompin' grounds from high school, so it also brought back some memories. The only thing that is a negative is that it hurts the pocketbook. For a cup of coffee (they charged me extra for decaf - what is that?! Randy- no smart comments on how I should've been drinking leaded anyway!) and a slice of scrumptious chocolate, pecan, caramel goodness, I paid $11, not including tip or helping pay for Jenn's goodies. That is not something I can afford to do often, but it was worth it to indulge the day before
GBF and celebrate my friend.
