Taken from last newsletter:
It has come to my attention recently that I have not kept you all informed of my life the way that I should. I write today in an effort to remain as a part of your lives, as I desire that you should remain a part of mine. As you know I am currently an intercessory missionary on staff at the International House of Prayer in Atlanta. I also direct a ministry called Bound4LIFE Atlanta, which is committed to trumpet the cause of justice for the unborn and pray for the ending of abortion in Atlanta and the US.
The past six to nine months have been an amazing journey with the Lord in the place of “wilderness.” I have been hemmed in so-to-speak, and unable to even leave the Atlanta area much because the Lord has been so jealous for my heart. There have been ups and downs, but as I look back on the journey I realize that the Father has been growing and maturing me as his daughter and bride for his Son. He has healed old wounds and begun to show me who he has created me to be, as a king and priest before him (Rev. 1:6). He is truly teaching me the ways of His kingdom, which are through meekness and gentleness. My greatest weapon in this world is that of virtue. I am nowhere near reaching the goal of wielding this weapon yet, but I am in training for the day that I will be able to move strongholds over Atlanta by the love that I demonstrate to my neighbor. This truly is my desire.
When I asked the Lord about the current season I am in with Him, He told me that I am in a season of “rediscovery.” Though I am not completely certain what that means, I do know that He desires for me to return to my first love, as He exhorted the church of Ephesus in Revelation 2:1-7. I am learning how to love Him and others with a heart of freedom and reckless abandon. He is reminding me of His great love for me, and the power that is in the name of Jesus.
Leading Bound4LIFE ATL has been one of the biggest challenges of my life, as the Lord is teaching me how to lean on HIS leadership. I am pleased to announce that Bound4LIFE ATL is now incorporated and on its way to becoming a non-profit organization (501c3). The Lord has opened doors for us to communicate our mandate throughout the city and beyond. Last weekend I flew out to Dallas to support our friend and spiritual father, Will Ford, as he exposes revelation the Lord has given him about the “Truth Behind Abortion.” This weekend, I will be leading our team up to Nashville to participate in The Call Nashville, a “Joel 2” stadium gathering to repent on behalf of the sins of our nation and ask the Lord to have mercy on us. Approximately 100,000 are expected to come and join us as we rend our hearts and not our garments, and return to the Lord with fasting, weeping, and mourning (Joel 2:12-13).
Once again I thank you for your continued support and prayer. Please continue to pray for me as I seek the Lord with all my heart, on behalf of a generation, and as I give leadership to Bound4LIFE ATL and IHOP-ATL. May the Lord be merciful to you and bless you and cause His face to shine upon you (Ps 67:1).
